Role: Senior Control Systems Engineer Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 Company: A leading supplier of Control and Information Technology Systems to a wide range of prestigious multi-national customers. Location: Sheffield The company deliver a quality engineering service to their clients across a wide range of technologies and applications and have established an excellent reputation for the implementation of sophisticated Control and Safety Systems. About the role: The Senior Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for the full life cycle delivery of their project(s) in both technical compliance and quality. Attending meetings with clients to discuss the design, surveys, programming, configuration, testing and commissioning. Senior Control Systems Engineer Duties: Writing detailed functional design specifications Configuration of system architecture, network connections Production, modification, testing and commissioning of SCADA & PLC software UK Site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home) . Capable of leading a small team of control engineers and taking responsibility for the teams overall technical output.
