Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Bodmin, who are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to work in an SEN setting. We have several full-time positions for the right individuals, who are passionate about working in a highly rewarding environment. Applicants should ensure they are available 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday. A driving licence is essential in this role.
We are looking for people who are able to support students in their academic performance, as well as outside of the classroom environment, engaging in activities and trips off-site. We are looking for candidates who have a Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant area, including Childcare, Health and Social Care, or Sports Coaching. Other qualifications will also be considered for individuals with a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards the role. The most important attributes to this role, are self-motivation, and a passion for the education sector.
Individuals will need to have a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service prior to being placed in a school, however, assistance can be provided with this during the registration process. Knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Equal Opportunities, and Teaching and Learning is crucial to the role, therefore, candidates will be offered a two-week fully paid induction, where all training for the role will be provided.
