QA Tester Are you a software tester who wants to automate everything? Do you enjoy finding ways to break things so they can be built back stronger? If you have wanted the opportunity to build a web application test automation suite from the ground up, your timing is perfect! Focused on our CMS and web application products, this role will be leading the way for quality. The QA Tester will be expected to take control of the team s approach to testing, make it their own, and expand it further by using automation. About the team The Digital Development Team at the Charity sits within the Technology Department and is responsible for application development, support, and integration across the range of platforms that are used, including both web and CRM. The team focuses on solution development, testing, and delivery using Agile principles and ways of working. About you You will have previous experience testing and delivering QA for web applications. You will have expanded automated test coverage in previous environments and have strong opinions on which testing tools or platforms are best suited for different requirements. The ideal candidate will also have: Experience testing with and scripting for Webdriver tools Knowledge of Django and/or Wagtail and CMS platforms Previous experience working in Agile teams; writing and testing against user stories and/or BDD scenarios Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines An understanding of DevOps best practice.
