IT Audit Manager - FTSE 250 FS Company - London or Surrey based - Hybrid
Purpose of the role
This is a brand new position and has been created to reflect the company's move to a more IT driven and automated environment, the Group Internal Audit team are looking to strengthen their in-house capabilities. The role holder will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the IT and cyber audit aspects of the Group's Plan to time and budget.
The individual will be required to effectively and robustly challenge Senior Management and Executives on the control frameworks in place whilst also having a view on whether these are fit and effective for current and future purpose. As the role matures the role holder will support the Director of Group Internal Audit in defining and delivering an IT Audit target end state that is effective and efficient for the business, whilst also adhering to good practice and professional standards.
Initially this role will have no direct reports. It may well suit an individual currently acting as IT Audit Manager / Lead IT Auditor / Senior IT Auditor keen to spread their wings in a brand new role.
? Demonstrable experience in performing, managing and delivering a wide range of IT audits to quality and time (experience of Financial Services would be an advantage) ideally within Big 4 environment.? Demonstrable experience of auditing within a highly regulated Sector, Solvency II environment would be an advantage.? A proven track record in independently dealing with Senior Manager and Executive to land key messages and drive out effective and meaningful changes.? A proven track record in working effectively with internal and external peers and support.? Experience of individually establishing and maintaining effective relationships and networks.? Demonstrable experience in supporting the development of the IT target maturity states of an Internal Audit function
? Recognised system security certification e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, MIIA / CIPFA? Recognised cloud security certification e.g. CCSP, CCAK, AWS, Azure certifications.
