Due to business growth, my client is looking for an HR Advisor to join our great team!

They are looking for someone who can partner with our people managers, working with them to identify business led HR solutions that deliver performance! You'll be the first point of call, providing advice and support to the business whilst driving the people agenda to ensure the overall success of the business.

Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week), permanent / Paying £15 per hour.

Location: B31 Office Based

The main responsibilities are:

  • Continued development of people practices and procedures.
  • Liaise and correspond with employers, employees, clients, training and grant providers in person, by telephone, email, and letter.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee training needs, development, performance, competency, sickness, and holidays
  • Monitor training needs and source training/grant providers, organise employee training, apply for training grants
  • Assist company directors in developing strategy and direction of company. Support the management of director diaries etc
  • Input and evaluate employee competences
  • Prepare/ carryout employee counselling, investigation, and disciplinary meetings to statutory requirements.
  • Ensure that all employees are in receipt of terms & conditions and any other legal documentation required.
  • Support in the preparation of in-house training modules and maintaining of training matrix.
  • Organise, attend and minute take meetings with employees, clients, training/ grant providers.
  • Support in the preparation towards Investors in People.
  • Support in the preparation towards ISO Accreditation.
  • Carry out any general administrative requirements of directors.
  • Support and develop our social media, Linked in and any further areas of marketing relevant to the business
