Avanti Recruitment are currently working with a leading media advertising company based in London. The company are now looking for a bright Graduate Java Developer. The companies platform enables media agencies/owners and creative agencies to streamline booking, scheduling and adherence to correct compliance. They work with some of the largest companies in the world including the likes of Sky, Disney and Coca-Cola. The company have continually grown from strength to strength and have a market share of 97% of the UK's £5Bn TV and VoD advertising spend.
They are now looking for a Graduate Java Developer who will be working on a new API that will automate a huge amount of interaction with their current applications. You will help scale the function both to help with the new API process and take on generalist tasks to. You will start off working on formulating test plans to better increase coverage across all of the companies platforms. Then you will start gaining more responsibilities and will pick up more complex elements such as test load and performance testing. You will then have the opportunity to work closely with the DevOps and Engineering team and will transition into a fully-fledged Java Developer. You'll be working across the full SDLC and will get to work across the broad range of disciplines, including applying AI and Machine Learning and also Python. You will be working in an Agile environment using TDD/BDD and Pair programming. The company will help develop your career and will help with accreditations/certifications, as well as covering costs of multiple courses to enable your continuous growth. They will also help you gain your AWS certification which all of their engineers go through as they move towards a serverless deployment pipeline.

- You hold a 2:1 or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering
- Strong Java Coding Experience
- Understanding of the testing pyramid
- Strong experience understanding and manipulating relational databases (creating database tables and writing multi-table joins
- SQL Experience
1 stage interview: 90 minutes video call, they will go through your experiences and get you to do a bit of pair programming.
