As Director you will play a pivotal part in leading a hugely ambitious Council, determined to ensure their work with communities is effective, they collaborate, innovate and adapt in a challenging environment for public services.
You will lead, develop and redesign the delivery of a broad range of key frontline universal services of the Council, ensuring a resident first approach, and delivering of the political priorities to reduce inequalities, take action on climate and support thriving towns. You will do this at an exciting time with significant investment into their towns, supported by thriving partnerships within them and West Yorkshire. They are looking for a creative public service leader, able to utilise all the resources of the place, a system thinker able to operate strategically, whilst also being able to respond to detail in a political environment.
