What you'll do!
• Business Partnering to support the Project Team with financial advice from project creation to closure.
• Ensure accuracy of project accounting including cost analysis, revenue recognition and profitability of each project.
• Responsible for sales contract review for proper determination of the timing of revenue recognition.
• Responsible for all aspects of the Inventory accounting including reserves, physical inventories, etc.
• Maintains a high-level operational understanding of the value streams of customers, plant site and the financial components of the value streams (Volume, overhead cost, labor cost, standards, yields, productivity, etc.)
• Responsible for Liability type accounts such as Warranty, Bonus, Payroll Accruals and A/P accruals.
• Perform Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation, monthly financial reporting and analysis on accounts under the responsibility and prepare Journal Entries as needed to ensure correct balances.
• Responsibility to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Corporate Finance Policies.
• Support the External and Internal Financial and SOX audits. Work directly with the auditors.
• Provides forecasting and supporting analytical review as part of the KPI meetings with the Regional Management Team.
• Responsible for the preparation and documentation of financial and trends analyses, root cause analysis to support the business.
Who you are!
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Financial and Management Accounting experience.
• Advanced experience of Microsoft Suite, SAP (Preferably SAP).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Planning, coordination, and organization of the work.
• Identify, understand and monitor key business drivers and drive for improvements.
• Has strength of convictions and ability to present facts and data in a compelling argument for business discussions.
