Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Through training, demonstrates the understanding and ability to complete transactions which include but are not limited to the following forms of guest service: accurately counting and redeeming gaming chips, redemption of gaming vouchers from slot machines, check cashing, creating new guest accounts, printing and paying out credit card cash advances, issue and consolidate guest counter checks (markers), exchange foreign currency, slot jackpot payouts, redemption of sports book tickets and overall continual cash handling and counting.
  2. Ability and willingness to participate in the learn and earn cage incentive program which entails training in and learning the various cage banks including main bank, kiosk bank, chip bank, poker cage, marker bank and general cashiering bank, at a minimum.
  3. Perform accurate cash settlement and balancing procedures by verifying that all currency, chips and the paperwork associated with all transactions are accurately accounted for and turned in at the end of each shift by use of computer and manual processes.
  4. Ability to handle large volumes of cash and multi-task in an accurate, honest and efficient manner at all times.
  5. Consistently demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional guest service by responding appropriately to guest questions and practicing problem solving aptitude to ensure that all guest transactions are accurate and efficient.
  6. Must demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities and interact in a positive manner at all times with peers and all levels of management alike.
  7. Must demonstrate the ability to utilize various counting equipment in the form of computers, currency counters, coin sorters and 10 key calculators.


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of Gaming Industry and/or Cage Cashier Operation a plus.
  3. Must possess the ability to work in a fast paced, multi- tasking environment and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  4. Must possess exemplary guest service skills and the ability to interact in a positive manner with the public and all related departments.
  5. Must have the ability to perform transactions by use of basic math skills.
  6. Previous computer and money handling skills a plus.
