Are you a tenacious, driven Business Development Manager exploring new opportunities on the market? Do you have experience of selling into the UK Education sector? If this sounds like you, please keep reading. I am recruiting a Business Development Manager to join a leading Events business out of their office in Manchester. Paying a basic salary of up to GBP35k, with uncapped commission structure, this is a hybrid role which only requires you to go into the Manchester office 1 day per week. As Business Development Manager, this is predominantly a new business position and you will play a fundamental role in identifying contacts, building relationships and selling packages across the UK Education sector. What will you be doing as Business Development Manager? Establishing new sales channels across the UK, building and creating a pipeline of new opportunities Have a consultative approach to your sales strategy, building strong relationships by partnering with businesses and understanding their specific needs Sell a range of ticket bundles across the schools portfolio Develop and target premium accounts Use existing resources to open conversations in specific markets Build a strong understanding of the business portfolio and events to confidently bring to market We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience: Significant experience in sales with a demonstrated successful sales record of high-value sales in a B2B environment Previous experience in selling into the Education sector is highly preferred Sales experience in other consultative sectors may also be considered A tenacious can do approach to work Be able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels across the business Excellent organisation and timekeeping skills What will you get in return for your work as Business Development Manager?
