An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and fast growing organisation based in Wolverhampton. This role will give the opportunity to join a friendly and long standing finance team as their Accounts Assistant. You will be providing a support across the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable division. This role is also on a hybrid working basis. Your daily duties: - Input of purchase invoices - Prepare weekly payment runs - Review aged creditors report - Reconcile supplier statements - Resolve supplier queries - Reconcile inter-company accounts - Purchase payments including cashbook - Allocation of payments - Daily posting of cash book payments - To raise system generated invoices on a yearly, quarterly & monthly basis as well as manual ad hoc invoices daily - Reconciliation of accounts. - Month end balancing of the Sales Ledger to the General Ledger - Deal with queries via E-mail & telephone. You will have: - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the business and externally. - Understanding of accounting procedures. - Resilient, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and cope with multiple & varied tasks. - Innovative, with a desire to identify improvements. - Willingness to learn and demonstrate a flexible approach to working. - Ideally have some Sales Ledger experience. - IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel In return: - Opportunity to work for a well known business - Competitive salary - Hybrid working - Free on-site parking - Pension scheme
